At Paediatric Diagnostics we understand the importance of children’s health and we are keen to ensure that all patients are able to be seen as soon as possible without barriers. We are proud to be able to offer a finance scheme that allows families to split the total cost of their treatment and spread payments. We are pleased to be able to work in partnership with the ‘Go Cardless’ company, which allows us to offer multiple finance solutions which are available with 0% interest.
Go Cardless is a simple way of paying for your treatments gradually rather than in one go. It can be very easily set up making payment quick and easy. Go Cardless is the number 1 direct debit provider in the UK.
Will I be charged interest for using Go Cardless?
No, this is a direct debit service, using the service is completely interest-free.
Do I need a credit check?
No, setting up go Cardless does not require a credit check.
How do I set this up?
If you are interested in setting up Go Cardless payments our client liaison team will discuss your treatment plan and take a 40% deposit against the total cost of treatments. Following this, an invite will be sent which will allow you to set up a secure online account – this is a very easy process and only needs to be done once. Once your account is set up and complete Go Cardless will be set up to take payments after each treatment.
What treatments are available on the Flexible Installment Plan?
This service is available for the following treatments: consultations, blood tests, skin prick tests, Hydrogen breath tests, Tongue tie, Microsuction and pH studies.
What happens if the funds are not available when the debit is taken?
If there are no funds in the account to settle the direct debit or you cancel early, we will be notified of this. We will make contact to collect payment and enable you to set up direct debit again. In the event that we are unable to collect the payment; we will refer your case to our debt collector.
What happens to the 40% deposit?
The deposit is taken to not only reduce the monthly payments for the rest of the term, but also enables you to start treatment straight away whilst the direct debit is set up.
We always try to ensure our prices are as transparent as possible. We work with doctors and surgeons who are considered experts in their field and prices may vary amongst them.
Imaging and Surgical procedures are carried out at one of our partner hospitals. Self-funded prices can vary between hospitals and the team will provide a quote to you prior to commencing any treatment or investigation.
If you have medical insurance (e.g. Bupa, Axa PPP, Aviva), you will need to contact your insurer to get authorisation for any treatment and, in most cases, you will require a referral letter from your GP. We can book the appointment in advance whilst you wait for the referral letter from your GP.
We will endeavour to confirm the exact prices of any investigations needed during your consultation.
Common charges for patients that are funding their treatment or investigation themselves can be found below. Please contact us if you wish to discuss this further.
