Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Services

This collaboration enables us to offer a comprehensive, ‘one-stop’ clinical service for all paediatric gut conditions. Our combined expertise allows us to provide a full range of diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring precise and accurate clinical diagnoses. These services include:

Hydrogen and Methane Breath Tests: These tests detect intolerances to lactose, sucrose, and fructose, and can help exclude Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO).
24-hour pH Studies: This study monitors acid levels in the oesophagus to diagnose gastro-oesophageal reflux.
Skin Prick Tests: These tests measure levels of IgE antibodies to specific food allergens by detecting their presence in the skin.
Colonic Transit Marker Studies: Used to assess bowel function and diagnose constipation.
Endoscopic Procedures:
- Gastroscopy: Examines the inside of the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum.
- Colonoscopy: Inspects the entire colon and rectum.
- Video Capsule Endoscopy: Provides images of the small intestine.
